Good Health; an Inevitable Aspect of Life

WHO’s definition sometimes gets criticized because being healthy is not a state; it is a way of life. Moreover, it’s a process. Keeping your physical health in check requires you to have proper diet every day. In addition to having a rich diet full of nutrients one must also have adequate sleep and exercise daily to maintain health. It is also essential to surround oneself with people who bring in positivity and encourage you to bring out the best in you rather than pulling you down.

HIDDEN ANGUISH

Symptoms of mental illness are quite different for everybody. Most importantly, when you know that you can’t help somebody but they need it, encourage them to take professional help without forcing it on them. Professional help can save a life. Think about it. Lots of people deal with and manage themselves but some people require therapy. We just have to figure out which category do they belong to. A few months ago, when everything in my life turned strange. I felt that nobody wanted to talk to me. Slowly, I started losing faith in the world, people, and myself. My mental health started falling apart. It was almost as if a monster was living inside of me and I didn’t dare to share this with anyone. Then I finally gathered the courage and shared all of this with a close friend. As I spoke to him, I felt lighter and to my surprise, he was empathetic about everything. We are all gifted and the gift is nothing but the amazing power of healing ourselves. Remember happiness is not constant but life is.
